Does Janet the "ED3" Need to Sell Jewelry??

As you can see with all of my travels it left me a very short time to do business. Just because I have an awesome title doesn’t mean I stop working the business. This was a very difficult month for me and I was able to pull bookings out of my hat at the last moment!

Remember that bookings and home shows are the lifeblood of our business and without them we don’t have much of a business. We are so lucky to have an awesome company, amazing designer, and cutting edge jewelry! The jewelry sells it’s self! It can’t sell it’s self unless somebody shares it with others. That’s our job. We need to open our business every day. We are so lucky to be our own business billboard so we need to wear the beautiful jewelry everyday!! WOO HOO!

· Carry your tote bag every day.
· Have your tote bag decorated with jewels and if you want, add some window signs.
· Always carry catalogs and/or business cards along with recruiting info.
· Wear the jewelry every day, and at times wear more than the average bear… I mean person. ;-)
· Know your next available date for a home or office show.
· Practice what you’re going to say when people comment on your jewelry.
· Be prepared and make eye contact with others.
· Most of all…remember to NEVER pre-judge. (“she would never be interested in hosting a show” “she would never be interested in the business” “she doesn’t look like somebody who likes jewelry”) You never know until you ask!

People can’t say “yes” unless you ASK! If they say no, don’t take it personal just remember it’s one more step to getting a “YES”!
