Convention is coming to YOU!


CEO John Lin and Director of Field Development and Training Nyra Carranza will be traveling to a city near YOU!

John wants to touch those who don’t get a chance to go to convention and reach out to as many people as possible. They have chosen areas where they see a lot of growth and also areas with growth potential. John says, “We as a company want to grow, so we want to help you grow!” He also said that his intent is to support our ups and downs, have an event that’s fun, and give people a chance to see them up close. At each event location there will be a scheduled lunch before the main event with leaders UM2 and above. Every leader who attends and has purchased a minimum of $500 PWV or has recruited at least 1 person by the time of this event will have their lunch paid for by Cookie Lee!! WOO HOO!!!

July…WOW! What a month and what an AWESOME incentive! WOO HOO!!

First of all I want to share with you of my July travels. I took a road trip to Canada through the breathtaking Rocky Mountains with my mom, sister, and daughter. My brother’s family lives in Calgary and my niece was getting married…so of course we had to go! I drove and the 4 of us had an awesome time! I don’t get to spend much time with my side of the family so this trip was very special to me. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! We also were showered with good news of another baby in the future….calm down…not the niece that just married, but her sister announced the pregnancy of their 3rd! This was such a wonderful time to be with my family. Memories were made that will last a lifetime!

I was home just short of a week to leave once again on yet another family vacation this time with my husband’s family. We were off to celebrate my father in-law’s 80th birthday! We had lots of fun and sun! My father in-law was truly appreciative!

Does Janet the "ED3" Need to Sell Jewelry??

As you can see with all of my travels it left me a very short time to do business. Just because I have an awesome title doesn’t mean I stop working the business. This was a very difficult month for me and I was able to pull bookings out of my hat at the last moment!

Remember that bookings and home shows are the lifeblood of our business and without them we don’t have much of a business. We are so lucky to have an awesome company, amazing designer, and cutting edge jewelry! The jewelry sells it’s self! It can’t sell it’s self unless somebody shares it with others. That’s our job. We need to open our business every day. We are so lucky to be our own business billboard so we need to wear the beautiful jewelry everyday!! WOO HOO!

· Carry your tote bag every day.
· Have your tote bag decorated with jewels and if you want, add some window signs.
· Always carry catalogs and/or business cards along with recruiting info.
· Wear the jewelry every day, and at times wear more than the average bear… I mean person. ;-)
· Know your next available date for a home or office show.
· Practice what you’re going to say when people comment on your jewelry.
· Be prepared and make eye contact with others.
· Most of all…remember to NEVER pre-judge. (“she would never be interested in hosting a show” “she would never be interested in the business” “she doesn’t look like somebody who likes jewelry”) You never know until you ask!

People can’t say “yes” unless you ASK! If they say no, don’t take it personal just remember it’s one more step to getting a “YES”!

Convention is ALMOST Here!!

As you all know, my son will be graduating from college the weekend of convention, so I won't be able to go to convention this year. I’m sad I won’t be amongst all of my awesome cookie sisters celebrating the new catalog and networking with all of them while making new friends, but I am beyond proud of my son’s accomplishments!

WOO HOO!!!

I will be anxiously waiting for a full report from our gems who will be attending convention!!

If you haven’t pre-ordered the Fall/Winter 08 catalogs online, remember you can order them through the Portland showroom tax free!!! I can ship a box of 100 for only $12.95!!

I will be at the showroom Monday August 25th and can pick up your catalogs then.

The showroom will be close Aug. 16-24.

The Showroom does not do Pre-Orders for catalogs, so it's best if you fax your catalog order to the showroom the weekend of the 22nd. This way they will receive your order first thing Monday morning the 25th.

I will be at the showroom most of the afternoon on the 25th and then again in the evening for the Month End Madness.

I will ship them off and you will receive them either Thurs the 28th or Fri the 29th. As always if you place an order through the showroom note that Janet Bauer will be picking it up for you. Also make sure and email me and let me know that there is an order for me to pick up.

6 Weeks 2 Success!

A few of us just finished our very first “6 Weeks 2 Success” class!

This class required a 6 weeks commitment of each participant. Every Tuesday we had a 1 hour conference call and each week we had a different assignment. Through this class we were given accountability buddies who kept us on track. We learned that we need to do something for our business every day and to journal it. We also learned verbiage and discussed different situations that we encounter on a daily basis. Over the 6 weeks we were able to network and share our successes and our failures. We stole a LOT of very AWESOME ideas from each other! Best of all we all bonded and became closer as Cookie sisters.

The bond is unbreakable!

We haven’t had a winner for awhile…only because nobody has sent me their point totals! It’s SO easy!! Send me your point total by the 5th of the following month!

Every month we will have a Jazzy winner! All you have to do is Earn as many Trip points as you can! The Jazzy Gem with the highest amount of points within the month will win the “Jazzy Gem of the Month”! I will need for you to track your own points and email me your total for the month. I will need your tally by the 5th of the following month.

The rules of the game: The consultant with the most trip points within the month wins! Track your own points. Check your point balance through the Clee consultant website and email Janet with the total by the 5th of the following month. Winner/s will be announced during our SMT conference call!! Multiple winners allowed!!

Each month’s winner will win:

Help With Sold Out Items!!!

As this catalog comes to a close items are selling out fast! Please remember that the Portland showroom still has a lot of items that are sold out online!!

Make sure you always check the Showroom's sold out list on the clee site.

Got to:
Showrooms/backorders/portland. Then print out the list. This list means these are the only items they do not have from the S/S 08 catalog. Of course items are selling out daily, so make sure and call the showroom first to see if they have the items that you need.

You can fax your order by using the pickup order form.
· Make sure you put your consultant number and name on the form.
· Write that Janet Bauer will be picking it up.

· Make sure and call the showroom ASAP to make sure they received your fax. Sometimes the fax machine has a mind of its own.
· When you call the showroom hit zero so you can talk to a person.

You can email them your order. In the email list:
· Your name and consultant number.
· Write that Janet Bauer will be picking it up for you.
· Tell them to call you for your debit/credit card number, unless you feel comfortable listing it in the email.
· List item number and qty in a list form.

You can call your order in just by calling them. J

Conference Calls are Our Unit Meetings and Training!

Remember to make time for our conference calls. I'm sorry if you have a constant conflict with the day and time. It’s so hard to reach everybody with our trainings, but consistency is always best. :-)

For those who live near the Portland showroom, I along with a couple of other leaders hold a unit meeting at the showroom's Month End Madness. This is the last Monday of every month, 7pm-8:30pm.
